This role will also involve designing thermoforming molds and simple assembly tools for factory use.YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:Design assigned products to ensure compliance with specifications and manufacturability requirements, both within the SR plant and with regular suppliers.Apply a consistent design logic, particularly across various product families, by implementing a coherent design methodology and adhering strictly to established guidelines.Support the creation and archiving of all technical documentation pertaining to product design.Conduct digital simulations, either directly or through external resources, to ensure the highest quality of the designed products. This process involves optimizing processability and mechanical resistance, as well as making necessary adjustments to the 3D model to achieve the desired performance.Manage the construction of the initial foam molding tool.Create 2D drafts of various components.Oversee the construction of prototypes using 3D printing and other prototyping techniques to validate the proposed solutions.Perform 3D scanning of products or components to facilitate reverse engineering activities.YOUR SKILLS:Knowledge of Thermoplastic Molding Processes.General Overview of Metals.Proficient in 3D CAD software (surface and reverse engineering) and Ansys (filling and structural analysis).Fluent in English.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.Organization, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.OUR REQUIREMENTS:Scientific Diploma or Degree.Experience in thermoplastic mold design and production environments is preferred.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, disability, or any other factors prohibited by law. #J-18808-Ljbffr
