Job Description
Analyze and verify internal consistency, completeness and mathematical accuracy of accounting documents; make adjustments, as necessary.
Perform account reconciliation; troubleshoot and analyze discrepancies.
Responsible in preparing, adjusting and closing journal entries.
Audit, review and verify accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications assigned to various records.
Coordinate accounting matters with other departments, locations and divisions. (ie Customer Service, Procurement, Warehouse, etc)
Assist with the preparation of year-end closings. Assist in the preparation of working papers for audits.
May assist in preparing monthly and annual consolidated statements.
Preparation of the VAT and other local taxes for Spain
Assist on Tax Return Declaration
Ensuring compliance with all accounting standards and fiscal legislation
Bachelor’s Degree in Economy or related field.
2-4 years accounting & taxes
Understands the fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of accounting and general ledger.
Very good analytical skills and knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles are essential.
Fluency in English
Fluency in Italian
Very good IT knowledge, in particular Excel
