Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid Application Support Specialist- CE IT role based in Tribiano, with the ability to work remotely up to 2 days a week. The IT Application Support Specialist for the Continental Europe IT department at Asendia will support the CIO and the European subsidiaries in knowing IT applications and support business users to maximize the benefit of usage, granting workaround or addressing clear issues and requests to development teams.

Business applications help to provide E-commerce platforms and solutions used in 8 countries with more than 200 internal and external users, including Business Intelligence and Analytical solutions.

You will also be responsible for documenting, analyzing, and proposing best practices for using the applications you’re in charge of.

The IT Application Support Specialist will provide technical and analytical support for Asendia's IT applications, identify and troubleshoot issues, and communicate with team members and customers to provide solutions.

Your tasks

• You will work with stakeholders to support them on application usage
• Identify and promote best practices and workarounds to business users to maximize the benefits on using applications
• Evaluate and assess potential issues, addressing them to Development teams or to other support team members
• Be the “Master” user of the application and referral point for any new processes to be used within the applications.
• Contribute to document applications

Your profile

• You are a motivated person with strong analytical and solution-oriented skills.
• Degree in Computer Science or STEM one
• Interest to self-learning and mastering business applications in logistic, ecommerce and shipments industries
• Analytical skills and ability to break down complex problems and activities
• Experience in working on projects or in international teams with multiple stakeholders is part of your profile.
• You are fluent in English and at least one of these languages: Italian, German, Spanish, Dutch.
• Interesting to gain process and software knowledge linked to logistic and ecommerce industries.
• Preferred user knowledge of Confluence and Jira tools.
