We are currently seeking a Sales Area Manager for our client, a leading company in the air treatment systems sector. They are committed to the development and supply of innovative and sustainable solutions for a greener future, they are involved in the development of industrial plants for air and fume treatment. Therefore, the ideal candidate will have experience in the air or fume treatment systems industry, or in heavy industry.
Main Responsibilities:
- Management and development of sales activities within the assigned geographical area, in order to achieve and exceed the established sales targets.
- Development and implementation of effective commercial strategies, in line with company objectives and B2B market dynamics.
- Coordination, motivation, and guidance of the sales team, providing support, training, and continuous feedback.
- Constant monitoring of individual and team sales performance, through data analysis and reporting.
- Identification of new business opportunities and development of commercial relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Close collaboration with other company departments (marketing, technical, customer service) to ensure an integrated market approach.
- Participation in the definition of the sales budget and monitoring of its compliance.
- Continuous updating on market trends, competitor activities, and new technologies in the air treatment and green solutions sectors.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Proven successful experience in B2B sales roles, preferably in the industrial sector (e.g., HVAC, water/air treatment, plant engineering).
- Previous experience in the management and coordination of sales teams.
- Solid basic technical knowledge in engineering (e.g., mechanical, environmental, energy).
- Strong focus on achieving targets and proven ability to develop and implement effective commercial strategies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to analyze sales data and perform reporting.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and management software.
- Excellent knowledge of Italian and preferably good knowledge of English.
- Willingness to travel within the territory.
