Adecco Italia is looking for an Accounting & Treasury Assistant to join one of our client companies operating in the energy sector.
The company focuses on the development and operation of solar energy projects, actively contributing to the energy transition and the growth of sustainable power solutions across Europe.
About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive resource to support the finance and accounting operations in Italy. The role requires hands-on management of financial documentation and collaboration with both internal teams and external accounting partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the Cassetto Fiscale, including fatturazione attiva and monitoring of relevant documentation
- Perform project expense reconciliation vs. budgeted expenses
- Oversee invoice processing through corporate platforms and ensure compliance with internal procedures
- Reconcile corporate credit card statements, identify discrepancies, and follow up on supporting documentation
- Collaborate with the local accounting partner for month-end closing and tax filings
- Support in the preparation and submission of statutory tax requirements, including F24, IMU, and related obligations
- Maintain organized financial records and provide support during internal/external audits
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience in accounting or treasury functions, in the Italian context
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple financial processes efficiently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (experience with corporate tools a plus)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with internal and remote teams
- Fluent in English (desirable but not a requirement)
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a multinational or corporate environment (a plus)
- Familiarity with IMU and other Italian municipal taxes
The position is offered with a 6-month fixed-term agency contract.
Level 3 of the Commerce National Collective Agreement.
€ 1.950 gross salary per month
Work location: Rome
Working hours: Full time, Monday to Friday (9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.)
