Education required: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Automation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Robotics Technology Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related field with interest in automation, robotics, systems, software and/or cybersecurity. Graduation by August 2025.
Language requirement: Written and spoken fluency in Italian and English.
Other requirements: Willingness to be geographically mobile (domestic) throughout rotations.
Location: Rosia, Italy

Within the Global Supply Chain business (GSC), our dedicated teams are responsible for manufacturing and distributing medicines and vaccines worldwide. They oversee every stage of production, from ensuring the creation of high-quality products at our manufacturing sites to developing effective supply forecasting and managing regulatory inspections—all powered by digital, data, and analytics.

What will you do?
Whilst on the programme, you will have the opportunity to:
Optimize the performance of the control systems & robotics that are part of our manufacturing operations, e.g., maintaining and troubleshooting site control systems, working with AGVs & Cobots.
Lead and support delivery of automation projects e.g. defining and implementing design improvements; upgrading and installing control systems and robotics systems.
Ensuring suppliers and site equipment comply with international standards.
Testing and commissioning.
Get involved in Smart Manufacturing projects.
Identify and mitigate potential Cyber security risks or vulnerabilities related to Operational Technology hardware and software.
Gain hands-on knowledge of current and new digital technologies, AI & data science.
Learn about working in a highly regulated business and the role that Automation plays in supplying our patients at the end of our supply chain.
