Business Development Manager – Chief of Staff

For our client, a multinational leader in its sector, we are participating in the strengthening of Chief of Staff structure, with the search for a Business Development Manager. Reporting directly to the Managing Director Italy, the resource will support the MD in creating and executing powerful, choiceful and executable business strategies and plans to support the profitable growth of the Company, working closely with the Senior Leadership Team (Sales, Marketing & other core Departments).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be a strategic commercial development partner and integrator across commercial functions and with the Region, driving insights-based profitable growth;
  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing & other strategic functions to enable the capability to execute the strategy through local priorities and projects;
  • Create and support systems & related processes of regular reporting on strategy execution performance;
  • Support, co-ordinate and follow-up ´local implementation of the Regional commercial agenda;
  • Support integrated business planning processes in line with Global and Local strategies;
  • Reporting to the MD and work closely with the Senior Leadership Team and external partners to foster the change management process already started and speed up growth on the market;
  • Take the lead in developing and presenting new business materials, tools and approach to foster potential business opportunities and partnerships;
  • Manage ordinary (digital agenda: digitisation processes, AI integration in forecasting, reporting, digital B2B channel evolution) and extraordinary (M&A, due diligence management and subsequent business and process integration) growth acceleration projects.

Role Requirements:

  • Professional with at least 6 years of working experience, mixed from business (preferably in FMCG) and consultancy companies;
  • Strong Project Management and analytical skills;
  • Fluent both in English and Italian;
  • Excellent in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access), good in Power BI and other tools allowing massive data analysis;
  • Result oriented, able to execute and deliver and able to question the status quo;
  • Strong leadership to build proficient relationships and able to drive changes and influence people, curious approach, creative;
  • Interested to join a dynamic and constantly innovating working environment.
