We are now looking for a talented professional with the drive to develop and grow service business for a Technical Operations’ Component Maintenance Services organization role as Business Development Manager In this role your focus will be on the application, sales and development of our component maintenance business on target markets. You’ll be responsible for the management of accounts which will include business sustainment and developmental opportunities. Your strategic business focus ensures growth of the service portfolio. This position calls for an outstanding communicator and a team player, who thrives on managing multiple projects but equally comfortable working on your own initiatives. You’ll be interfacing with customers to sell services as well as internal stakeholders on technical and development topics. In this role you will analyze our ability to achieve business goals and how services and operations need to change in order to improve the company's success on the markets. Main responsibilities: Implementation of business strategies. Take the lead as the proposal manager for key proposal activities. Be responsible for managing the sales and business development activities to support overall component maintenance growth. Manage and optimize product portfolio. Analyze and calculate business cases for strategic decision making. Provide marketing analysis as appropriate to help guide continued refinement of business strategy, product and technology roadmaps. Improve profitability and customer satisfaction on new and recurring sales by creating alignment of sales objectives and operations’ capability. Study new innovations to enhance efficiency and to scale company activities. Support and lead to implement new innovations. We expect you to have: Ability to develop and execute strategies aligned with business objectives. Excellent presentation skills with the ability to create effective presentation material Proven general capabilities in facilitating change, planning and organizing, customer focus and building successful teams. Proven experience on technical sales, contracting and continuous development. A drive for innovation, data and technology intelligence and best practices for continuous optimization. Proven specific capabilities in the technical and professional skill of Proposal Management & Project Management Process Facilitation. Proficiency with Microsoft Office software. As this position will support business pursuits of new markets, new customers and new sales channels, a strong level of demonstrated prospecting skills are required to help business unit leadership identify, prioritize and pursue new growth areas. Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business. A minimum of 5 years direct technical sales experience.
