Wet Hire, Earthmoving Machinery in Civil, Mining & Rail
Fast-paced growing company
This local plant hire & specialised contracting business predominantly focus on civil, mining and rail infrastructure delivering projects for local government, councils, and private contractors nationally.

Due to growth in the business, we are searching for a Business Development Manager specialising in wet hire and sales of earthmoving machinery in the civil, mining and rail industries. With an existing client portfolio in place, this individual will continue to build those strong relationships and develop new business opportunities while working closely with the Director. 

Reporting to the Director, duties will include, but not be limited to;
Manage existing and new client relationships
Develop opportunities to hire earthmoving equipment to current and new clients
Manage quotes and tender submissions
Implement and improve customer relations to deliver successful business outcomes securing repeat business
Drive new business sales 
Gather industry market knowledge of projects, start time, scope of works, requirements etc
The successful individual will have a proven machine hire and sales background with a good understanding of civil construction projects. Open to speaking with Civil Engineers, Supervisors or other Civil professionals, who are looking to take a step back from delivery/site work and have the passion and interest in creating solutions for their clients and projects. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Driven to achieve results with the ability to plan, develop and execute new business opportunities. Must be able to travel when required.
