Role: Calibration Engineer - AUTOMOTIVE

Locations: Torino, Milano, Modena, Reggio Emilia

Responsibilities:

1. Calibrating engine testing on test benches for diesel, gasoline, CNG, hybrid, and electric vehicles.
2. Calibrating on vehicles.
3. Defining combustion processes (emissions, performance), safety, and drivability.
4. Implementing diagnostic strategies / EOBD / Troubleshooting.
5. Post-processing, after-treatment, and test programming on vehicles.
6. Managing datasets, analysis, calibration control, and coordinating release activities.
7. Preparing comprehensive reports based on activities and technical documentation of tests conducted.

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related fields.
• Experience in bench calibration of diesel, gasoline, hybrid, and electric engines.
• Previous experience in engine experimentation and functional verification.
• Diagnosing anomalies from bench tests, vehicle tests, or track testing.
• Good knowledge of engines, after-treatment systems, and ATS is preferred.
• Knowledge of tools such as ETAS INCA, ETAS MDA, AVL Puma, AVL Concerto, Dianalyzer, CANdela, GT-Power.
• Nice to have: Matlab and Simulink.
• Good command of English language.
