Duties:

• Lead and direct the Catholic music program, including rehearsals and Masses, to create an engaging worship environment.
• Provide music for two regular weekend services (Saturday evening and Sunday morning), one weekly rehearsal, and all holy days of obligation.
• Collaborate with the Catholic priest in selecting and preparing music aligned with the liturgical calendar and scriptural themes.
• Ensure the proper setup, use, and care of musical instruments and chapel equipment, returning all items to their designated places after use.

Requirements:

• Minimum high school diploma; college degree or certificate in music or a related field is preferred.
• At least two years of recent experience as a musician in a Catholic church or chapel.
• Comprehensive understanding of Catholic Mass structure, traditions, and liturgical music, including both classical and contemporary hymns.
• Proven ability to organize and work with individuals from various musical backgrounds.
