As Council's most senior executive, you will be the strategic driving force behind the design, development and implementation of key initiatives and programs that will influence the region's future and touch the daily lives of all our residents and business communities. You will have a 360o focus across all top-line activities, but have a specific emphasis on financial, operational and strategic planning, service development and growth, in-depth reporting, key stakeholder engagement, and all aspects of compliance, governance and risk minimisation.

A high-profile, influential role in every sense, it calls for one of Australia's most experienced and accomplished public sector leaders. You bring a values-based approach to leadership while innovation, lateral thinking, commercial smarts and a commitment to collaboration are also strong attributes. A strong understanding of the Queensland governance framework should be combined with a genuine passion for all aspects of local government planning, development and growth. On a personal level, your professionalism and confidence allow you to quickly build credibility and engagement with a broad range of both internal and external stakeholders.
