ppEscapeCampus is an international education group focused on language learning. /p pbWe currently operate: /b /p ullibLanguage schools /b across the bUK, Spain, Italy and Colombia /b (online and in‑person) /li liA growing bEdTech division /b building AI‑powered language learning solutions /li liPartnerships with companies, schools and institutions to deliver binnovative learning experiences /b /li /ul pWe’re now looking for a bPart‑Time Chief Financial Officer (CFO) /b to help us structure and scale the financial side of the business and to lead our bfundraising strategy /b across all EscapeCampus projects. /p h3Role Overview /h3 pThis is a bstrategic and hands‑on /b role. /p pWe are looking for someone who can: /p ulliUnderstand the boverall business model /b of EscapeCampus (schools + online + EdTech) /li liTake ownership of bfinancial planning, cash flow, and unit economics /b /li libLead and optimise our fundraising efforts /b (VCs, angels, grants, public funds, accelerators) /li liHelp the CEO make data‑driven decisions on bgrowth, investments and profitability /b /li /ul pYou will work closely with the bFounder CEO /b and coordinate with our operations, product and sales teams. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ulliDesign and maintain the bfinancial model /b of EscapeCampus Group (PL, cash flow, forecasts, scenarios). /li liAnalyse and improve bunit economics /b (customer acquisition costs, lifetime value, margins per product/country, etc.). /li liLead and structure the bfundraising strategy /b: /li liIdentify and prioritise relevant binvestors, funds and grant opportunities /b /li libSupport in preparing pitch decks, financial slides, business plans and data rooms /b /li libJoin investor meetings and handle financial business due diligence /b /li libImplement or improve basic financial processes and reporting /b: /li liMonthly/quarterly reporting /li liBudgeting and budget vs. actuals /li liCash flow management and runway planning /li liAdvise on bcorporate structure, subsidiaries and cross‑country operations /b (UK, Spain, Italy, Colombia) with our legal/accounting partners. /li liSupport the CEO in bstrategic decisions /b (pricing, product mix, hiring plan, cost optimisation, expansion). /li liEnsure compliance with basic bfinancial regulations and good governance practices /b. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ulliProven experience as bCFO, Finance Director, Head of Finance /b or similar in a bstartup or scale‑up /b (EdTech, SaaS or education‑related sectors a plus). /li liStrong skills in bfinancial modelling, forecasting and unit economics /b. /li liDemonstrated experience in bfundraising /b (equity, convertible instruments, grants, public funding, accelerators, etc.). /li liAbility to translate numbers into bclear strategic recommendations /b for non‑financial stakeholders. /li liComfortable working with bdistributed operations /b across multiple countries and currencies. /li liHands‑on, pragmatic, able to work with blimited resources /b in an early‑stage environment. /li liExcellent bEnglish /b (spoken and written). /li /ul h3Nice to Have /h3 ulliExperience in bEdTech, education, or training businesses /b. /li liExperience with bgrant/public fund applications /b (innovation, digitalisation, education). /li liFamiliarity with bUK and EU startup ecosystems /b (investors, programmes, instruments). /li liBased in Europe or similar time zone. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
