POSITION OVERVIEWThe Chief Security Officer is responsible for the protection of the hotel guests, staff, assets (tangible and intangible) and other resources by developing and maintaining an organization that is responsive to the current, continuing, and immediately foreseeable security, safety, and health/hygienic requirements off the hotel. Assists in designing and implementing of a comprehensive security programme consistent with identified risks. Ensure an orderly and uninterrupted hotel work environment. Function as an asset protection advisor to the Hotel Management. Ensure that the organization operates strictly within legal and ethical parameters.RESPONSIBILITIESGeneral responsibilitiesTo ensure that the Brand is protected, and to model the purpose and values of Aman in the day-to-day operations.Project and impeccable professional, confident, efficient, and reassuring image to all hotel guests, patrons, visitors, and colleagues alike.Safeguard all information relating to the hotel, guests, and the company.Set a high departmental standards of professionalism; conduct and behaviour by acting a perfect role model.Regularly conduct training for all the Security staff.Security Assessment and ProgrammingDefine and control vulnerability assessments, identifying all risks affecting the hotel.Propose all the proportionate counter measures to minimize/eliminate risks.Responsible to implement responses to identified risks/threats.Continuous monitoring of critical areas in the premises.Studies the security and safety situation and recommends appropriate policies and procedures as well as updating the existing ones.Continually studies and recommends upgrading of the hotel security and safety systems.Develop and maintain Security Operations Manual.Security AdministrationCoordinates with the representative from the outsource company if any for the sourcing of the right security staff.Ensure effective posting of contracted security staff.Ensure a good working relationship with the contract security management and staff.Ensures timely preparation of all reports/documents.Systematic filing of all reports and departmental records.Attend all necessary meetings.Ensure all necessary internal department meetings are conducted with the support from the Security supervisor.Determines training requirements and conducts appropriate courses and seminars.Emergency ProceduresAnticipates and plans for various emergency situations.Support the training for Emergency Response Team.Ensure that all security staff are trained in fire hazards.To conduct regular safety system tests and practice fire drills; evacuation drills, bomb threats drills, etc.Responds to various emergency situations as appropriate.To ensure CMT notified and gathered when required.To ensure that the appropriate government agencies are promptly informed when required.Support the hotel FB hygiene controls and implementation of hygiene policy and procedures.Continuous monitoring of the hotel activities and developments, ensuring prompt responses to abnormalities; suspicious situations and disorder.Access controlsEnsure effective check points/security postings positioned at each access point into the building, staff entrance and loading bay, etc.Prevent unauthorized, unlawful or unwelcomed access into the Hotel or within restricted areas within the Hotel.Ensure through visitor vetting and registration system in place at check point.Maintaining of the visitor identification system.QUALIFICATIONSLanguages:verbal and written proficiency in Italian and English.Qualifications/Training:Degree/Diploma in any discipline.CPR.Work Experience:minimum 4 years as a supervisory level position for Security Officering / Security Department in an international luxury hotel.Others:computer knowledge. #J-18808-Ljbffr
