You will be supporting the reactor licensing process in the US at first. /ppYou will support the founding team to scaleup to a leading tech company supplying much needed energy solutions globally. /ppThis is a unique opportunity to join a high performance team developing a global energy solutions leader. /ppWhat you will be working on /ppTerra Innovatum Civil Engineer and Layout Architect will be: /pullidesigning, analyzing, and maintaining the structural integrity and safety of nuclear power plants, research facilities, and other nuclear-related infrastructure /liliensuring compliance with strict regulatory codes, performing structural assessments, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support plant construction, maintenance, and upgrades /li /ulpPotential next steps /ppAs the company is growing fast and plans international expansion in 2026, the right candidate will be considered for regional and/or global responsibility. /ppWhat you will be in charge of: /pulliDesigning and analyzing structural components for nuclear power plants, including containment buildings, cooling towers, and support structures. /liliEnsuring compliance with NRC (Nuclear Regulatory Commission) regulations, ASME BPVC, ACI (American Concrete Institute), and other industry standards. /liliPerforming structural load calculations, seismic analysis, and stress assessments for nuclear infrastructure. /liliOverseeing construction projects, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, design specifications, and regulatory requirements. /liliConducting inspections, failure analysis, and maintenance assessments on existing nuclear structures. /liliCollaborating with mechanical, electrical, and fluid systems engineers to integrate structural components with plant operations. /liliAssisting in licensing and regulatory documentation for nuclear facility design approvals. /liliSupporting plant modifications, retrofits, and decommissioning projects to meet evolving safety and operational standards. /liliUtilizing civil engineering software (e.g., STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, ANSYS) for structural modeling and analysis. /liliProviding technical expertise and guidance to project teams, contractors, and plant operators. /li /ulpWho we want to work with: /pulliEducation: Master degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field. /liliExperience: 3-7 years of experience in civil or structural engineering, preferably in nuclear, power generation, or industrial projects. /liliCertifications (Preferred): PE (Professional Engineer) license, SE (Structural Engineer) certification, or equivalent /liliStrong knowledge of structural analysis, reinforced concrete, and steel design. /liliProficiency in civil engineering software (e.g., STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, ANSYS, AutoCAD). /liliUnderstanding of seismic analysis, radiation shielding considerations, and nuclear-grade materials. /liliExperience with NRC regulatory requirements and nuclear safety design principles. /liliStrong problem-solving and analytical abilities. /liliEffective communication and teamwork skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. /liliHigh attention to detail and commitment to nuclear safety. /liliAbility to manage multiple projects and meet regulatory deadlines. /liliExcellent written and verbal communication skills in English /li /ulpPreferred: /pulliIPO experience /liliWritten and oral fluency in Italian /liliAbility to build relationships and influence at all levels of the organization /li /ul
