CompuGroup Medical is seeking an ambitious and proactive Cloud DevOps Engineer to join us and to help drive our ambitious technology plans

We are looking for someone really passionate about Cloud and DevOps topics, loving manage software in a cloud-native self-managed platform.

You Will

Manage our software and infrastructure release roll-out;

Enhancing and supporting a build framework for deploying applications.

Supporting and working alongside Agile development teams to ensure they have all the facilities to get the job done.

Driving best technology and software development practices into the team with passion and enthusiasm.

Establishing and running the processes for on-going maintenance monitoring support and security patching of a platform.

Ensuring continuous improvement within the team.

Advocate and modernize the services (performance, availability, OLA/SLA,...)

Improve infrastructure development and application development

keep yourself up to date attending main conferences, as well as workshops and in-house trainings

You Have

Experience with code versioning systems such as Git and CI/CD frameworks and scripting languages (preferably GitLab-CI)

Good Knowledge of Kubernetes and Helm

Strong attention to detail, astute diagnostic skills;

Experience in usage of automation/configuration management platforms (Ansible, Terraform...)

Experience in DevOps activities

Knowledge of Relational databases administration and tuning (preferably Postgres Database)

Python, GoLang and Shell scripting

Knowledge of IP networking, VPN's, DNS, load balancing and firewall.

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with immediate team members, other IT areas, and clients in other departments

Windows/Linux server operative system administration and performance tuning

Ability to identify operational issues, support and provide real time solutions for them making appropriate decision.

Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, from common features to data security solutions
