Job Description Summary
At Avio Aero, a GE Aerospace Company, we’ve been reimagining the power of flight for more than 100 years. We are specialized in the design, production and maintenance of components and systems for engine and mechanical transmissions applied to both civil and military aviation (i.e., accessory drivetrains, engine thermal management, turboprop & helicopter reduction gearboxes, etc.).

As Contract Administrator you will negotiate with dedicated providers according to specific policies, achieve the best contractual conditions while also ensuring internal customer satisfaction.

Job Description
Essential Responsibilities

Ensure timely deliveries on contract requirements for Critical Parts only – Short term view including equation requests

Resolve delivery issues

Ability to create partnership with Suppliers

Creation and Management of recovery plan for ordered parts

Enable communication with Quality, Engineering, Plants, Finance and Commodity to resolve delivery Issues

Strategize to expedite deliveries

KPI communication, analysis, reconciliation with supplier and improvement recovery actions

On site visit @ suppliers when necessary

End-User flow/data management

Order book review

Payment issue

Input material control and Inventory management - support

Qualifications/Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Technical disciplines preferred, from an accredited university or college

Previous experience in similar role

Knowledge of the sourcing field

Strong oral and written communication skills

Attitude to work in a cross-functional teamwork environment

Strong interpersonal skills

Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems

Proven ability to lead projects

Ability to document, plan, and execute programs

Established project management skills

Fluent in Italian and English

Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required

Desired Characteristics

SAP MM Module certificate

Previous experience in an Aerospace company is preferred

Previous experience in materials planning with foreign Suppliers

Flexibility in organizing tasks and activities as needed by the Business

Significant experience in Procurement/Fulfillment role
