pLeap29 is supporting a leading international project and construction management consultancy in the appointment of a Cost Control and Planning Engineer to join a major subsea infrastructure project. /ppbr/ppThis position will play a central role in coordinating project services across cost control, planning and scheduling, procurement support, logistics, and document control. /ppbr/ppThe role sits at the heart of the project team, ensuring financial, contractual, and operational performance is delivered in line with client and corporate expectations. /ppbr/ppstrongKey Responsibilities /strong /ppbr/ppstrongProject Services Coordination: /strong /pp • Lead and coordinate all project support functions including cost control, planning, document control, procurement support, and logistics /pp• Act as the link between the technical delivery team and corporate support functions /pp• Develop and maintain the Project Services Execution Plan /pp• Support project delivery across EPC and installation phases /ppbr/ppstrongCost Management Reporting: /strong /pp• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking activities /pp• Monitor expenditure and identify variances against approved budgets /pp• Prepare and present cost reports and financial updates to senior project leadership /ppbr/ppstrongPlanning Scheduling: /strong /pp• Supervise the development and maintenance of integrated project schedules /pp• Consolidate subcontractor schedules into the master programme /pp• Track progress and highlight risks or deviations to ensure timely delivery /ppbr/ppstrongProcurement Contract Support: /strong /pp • Work closely with procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and services /pp• Support variation tracking and contractor performance monitoring /pp• Ensure contractual documentation and reporting requirements are met /ppbr/ppstrongLogistics Coordination: /strong /pp • Coordinate mobilisation of personnel, materials, and equipment /pp• Support offshore and onshore logistics planning /pp• Ensure operational and regulatory requirements are integrated into service planning /ppbr/ppstrongCompliance HSE: /strong /pp• Ensure project services activities align with company standards and client requirements /pp• Promote a strong safety culture across all support functions /ppbr/ppstrongRequirements: /strong /pp• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering /pp• Minimum 15 years’ experience in project services or project controls /pp• Strong background in cost control and planning within major infrastructure, energy, or EPC environments /pp• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary project support teams /pp• Excellent written and spoken English /pp• Strong reporting and stakeholder communication skills /ppbr/ppThis is an opportunity to join a high profile, technically complex project within an established international consultancy environment. /p
