DescriptionItalmatch Chemicals SpA, a multinational production company in the Chemicals industry, is looking for a CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE to expand its CS team in its plant in Arese (Milan).The Customer Service Representative – AWS|OG (Water treatment solutions, and Energy business units) will be the key link between customers and Italmatch’s plants for a specific assigned area.The CSR Representative will act as focal point for all customers’ requests and communicate them internally to ensure a smooth supply of products and information to guarantee a good supply performance: providing products’ information, answering questions and resolving any emerging problems that customers might face with accuracy and efficiency.The role is deeply connected externally and within the company, with main internal partners being Logistics, Production Planners, Sales, Accounting and Business Operations.While being based in Italy, the assigned area will be the Middle East region, integrating the current existing team. Availability to travel in the Middle East region is required, as well as fluency in the Arabic language.Main ActivitiesDAILY OPERATIONSDaily management of a selected list of customers of the BUs - portfolio.Act as a link between plants and customers to ensure smooth flow of information both ways.Enter and process Sales Orders in SAP – SD Module following defined procedure.Enter and process Sales Orders in BLA’s ERP.Coordinate with Production Planners to gather information on availability of goods.Coordinate with Logistics to gather information on ETAs to be passed onto customers.Send Order Confirmations to customers.Generate invoices and coordinate internally to generate relevant documents to allow export / import in the destination countries.Identify and assess customers’ needs purchasing behaviour.Keep records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints in applicable tools.Acknowledging and coordinate internally to resolve customer complaints.Generate documents as required by legislation, if necessary.Maintain customers’ masterdata.Set-up in SAP of commissions’ agreements and relevant settlement.Liaise with Accounting on overdues and orders blocked by credit.Liaise with other internal Department’s as and when required.Join weekly dispatch meeting with BLA and provide relevant required dataProfile QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLSHigh School Diploma or higherFluent Arabic (both written and spoken) is essentialFluent English (both written and spoken) is essential5+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the chemical industryExcellent interpersonal and active listening skillsExcellent communication skillsPreferred knowledge of SAP – SD modulePreferred knowledge of Logistics principlesStrong Customer-oriented with pro-active approach to issuesKnowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) principlesMultitasking skills and good organisational abilitiesGood assessment of priorities ability to work calmly under high-stress situationsPredisposition to work in a teamInterest into Chemical industry considered as a plusThis announcement is addressed to candidates of both genders, as well as to candidates belonging to the protected categories ex law 68/99 Art. 1.Salary and Benefits Commensurate with Experience.
