CUSTOMER SERVICES AGENT – Belonging to the Protected Categories (Law 68/99)Singapore Airlines, a leading international airline, invites interested candidates to apply for a temporary position as Customer Services Agent at Fiumicino Airport – Rome The offer is addressed to people belonging to the Protected Categories (L.68/99) Type of contract: temporary (12 months) This position requires significant interaction with people.Please note that work is scheduled on shifts, during weekends and public holidays. MAIN DUTIES Ensure smooth operations for flights and passengers:Monitor check in activities.Ensure check-in and boarding commences on time.Ramp duties.Demonstrate problem solving skills.Provide positive guidance to GHA.Implement solutions that avoid or minimize problems.Assist passengers on arrival at customs and immigration.Handle mishandled baggage.Suggest ways to improve the station’s processes and increase efficiency.Write delay reports. Perform administrative functions:Verify invoices accurately and in a timely manner.Follow up with vendors in the event of a billing error.Identify cost saving opportunities.Complete flight log reports and statistics.Identify anomalies and suggest solutions to avoid errors.Complete online courses as assigned. • Prepare pre-flight/post-flight administrative work for flight operations. PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS BEHAVIOURS  • Customer-oriented and open-minded personality;  • Good analytic skills with attention to detail;  • Able to work collaboratively and under tight deadlines/time pressure;  • Is meticulous and organized in managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment;  • Able to project a senior presence, especially to airport contracted vendors;• Personable, able to build relationships within client organizations, thereby applying flexibility and leveraging negotiation skills;  • Tenacious, resourceful, results-oriented, innovative;  • Is a team builder and a team player;  • Effective time management and communication;  • Is operationally minded and applies transformative thinking in challenging the status quo.   RELEVANT QUALIFICATIONS EXPERIENCE  • Good degree or diploma from an accredited school or college;  • Operational working experience in the airline industry is an asset;  • Proficient in MS Office applications;  • Proficient in English and Italian. Applications should include your CV and motivation letter (both in English) to be sent to:idhamkhalid_mohamed@singaporeair.com.sg The offer is addressed to people of both genders in compliance with Legislative Decree n. 198/2006. The interested candidates should send a detailed resume providing explicit authorization of Personal Data Treatment (GDPR - Regulation EU 679/2016).
