Job Opportunity: Cyber-security Specialist in Wind Energy Sector

Are you experienced in Cyber-security and interested in joining an international company in the wind energy sector?

MED SCADA & Cyber Security Sales Solutions, within MED Power Plant Solutions Department, is responsible for value engineering, contractual risk management, and product management of SCADA & Cyber Security solutions in Vestas power plants. Our focus spans the Sales and Service stages across the Mediterranean Region, including South and Eastern Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. We provide advanced monitoring, control, data acquisition, and cyber security services for wind technology.

We are offering positions in Madrid, Spain, or Taranto, Italy.

Responsibilities

1. Identify and interpret Cyber Security requirements related to Wind Power Plants, and communicate proactively with customers and regulatory authorities in the Mediterranean area.
2. Contribute market requirements to R&D for the development of Cyber Security products and services, ensuring compliance and competitiveness.
3. Serve as the regional contact point for Cyber Security matters and represent the region within the Vestas Cyber Security Community.
4. Align Cyber Security best practices within the Vestas Mediterranean Region.
5. Train teams and customers on new Cyber Security products and services.
6. Participate in team-based selling approaches, building value during project negotiations, and guiding customers to meet standards and specifications.
7. Review customer tender specifications for Cyber Security, managing technical risks.
8. Prepare technical contractual specifications for Cyber Security solutions during bids.
9. Engage in technical meetings with customers and support operations with Cyber Security queries.

Qualifications

• M.Sc./B.Sc. in Telecommunication, Information Security, Electronic, Automation Engineering, or related fields.
• Over 5 years of experience in Cyber Security roles, including document review and compliance assessments.
• Knowledge of frameworks like IEC62443, CISA CSF 2.0, ENISA NIS 2 Directive, ISO 27001.
• Understanding of network security, ethical hacking, penetration testing, intrusion detection, malware detection, and access management.
• CISSP or CISM certifications are advantageous.
• Knowledge of ICT requirements in Wind Power Plants is a plus.
• Proficiency in English, spoken and written.
