Duties:Oversee the daily operations of the dairy department, including managing inventory, ordering products, and ensuring proper stock levelsEnsure that all dairy products are properly displayed and rotated to maintain freshnessTrain and supervise dairy department staff, providing guidance and support as neededImplement and enforce company policies and procedures related to food safety and sanitationMonitor sales trends and adjust product offerings to meet customer demandMaintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and employee schedulesProvide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring a positive shopping experienceRequirements:Previous experience in retail management, preferably in a grocery or dairy departmentStrong communication skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to effectively communicate with customers and staff members who may speak different languages (multilingual or bilingual skills are a plus)Proficiency in retail math, including budgeting, pricing, and profit marginsDemonstrated ability to recruit, train, and motivate a team of employeesExcellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectivelyCommitment to providing exceptional customer serviceNote: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
