Responsibilities:
Ensure that all aspects of the service contract are efficiently managed to achieve Availability, Reliability, and Safety.
Ensure work is performed safely in accordance with Health & Safety regulations, ANSF standards, and ALSTOM Policies.
Be responsible for train delivery to meet customer contractual requirements.
Monitor fleet performance to continuously meet customer requirements and take corrective action as needed.
Manage and develop preventive and corrective staff competencies.
Implement ALSTOM policies for staff development, including objective setting and appraisal.
Manage interfaces with contractors and suppliers according to national working rules.
Lead key business initiatives and implement APSYS (Kaizen continuous improvement) in depots.
Set and achieve Safety objectives and targets for staff and managers.
Ensure adherence to documented Quality procedures and maintain departmental quality standards per ISO 9001:2015.
Conduct Quality, Safety, and Communication briefings as required.
Oversee data input in the maintenance management information system and optimize the use of ERP systems.
Control the use of calibrated tools through proper calibration.
Ensure training packages and certifications are up to date.
Manage and lead continuous improvement activities for the site.
Education Required: Technical Mechanical or Electrical degree
Languages: Fluent professional English required
Experience Required:
Technical experience in mechanical and electrical engineering (+5 years).
Maintenance or production management experience in the railway industry or similar (+5 years).
Project Management experience is a plus.
Technical knowledge of trains.
IT skills – competent user of Personal Computer, including office packages.
Soft Skills:
Ability to communicate effectively and influence at all organizational levels.
Good understanding of production planning, scheduling, and logistics planning.
Result-oriented with problem-solving abilities.
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement approach focused on customer satisfaction.
