You will serve as a DEPUTY DIRECTOR, STRATEGY, POLICY, AND RESOURCES in the MARITIME HEADQUARTERS (N5A), of COMUSNAVEUR-COMSIXTHFLEET SEA.This announcement has been amended to extend the closing date to 12/23/2024. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:Developing comprehensive plans, strategies and policies that drive internal and external integration of programs and activities in support of higher echelon goals and objectives;Analyzing and solving complex problems that require coordination between functional areas that are interlocked to ensure the successful operation of all components;Interpreting program policies and regulatory requirements to develop short- and long-range planning guidance;Utilizing performance assessment tools to analyze and measure the effectiveness, efficiency of program processes;Negotiating effectively with multiple commands and outside organizations to accept and implement recommendations affecting operation plans and missions.NOTE: This information must be supported in your resume to be considered for the position.Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required.
