pOur Client is one of the major General Contractor in Europe with more than 1B€ turnover. /ppLeading player in the turn key projects, from design to construction in the infrastructure and buildings sector. /ppbr/ppIt offers solutions from the land evaluation, design and construction within strongindustrial, logistics and data center sector. /strong /ppbr/ppWe are actually looking for a strongDesign and Estimating Specialist /strong – who will be reporting to the Senior Design Director and will be responsible for the competitiveness of the offers submitted. /ppHe/She will be accountable for the proper application of best practices instrong design, cost estimation, quantity survey /strong and for the correct use of design and estimating tools across his/her scope of responsibility. /ppbr/ppstrongKEY RESPONSABILITIES ACTIVITIES: /strong /pulliWriting and optimisation of sales offers /liliDetailed technical design and estimating in line with the client’s needs /liliTechnical support in negotiations /li /ulpstrongProspection phase /strong: /pulliOccasionally helps the Business Development team to qualify leads and decide whether to proceed or not with the design and estimating /liliProduces or contributes to the grading of the Go / No Go sheet /li /ulpstrongDesign and Estimating phase: /strong /pulliEnsures compliance with the Go / No Go process /liliIs in charge of the projects’ cost estimating, in line with the bidding and deliverables schedule /liliManages the external design and engineering firms /liliCoordinates the internal support functions’ involvement in the projects /liliMeets with the client in the project definition phase /liliEnsures the projects’ technical design /liliDefines the client’s specifications to optimise the project financially while guaranteeing its quality /li /ulpstrongConstruction phase: /strong /pulliParticipates occasionally in the sub-contractor tendering process for an operation’s particular needs /liliIs available to the project teams to check the P0 and P1 budgets /liliAssists the project team in the construction phase (if required) /li /ulpbr/ppstronguQUALIFICATIONS /u /strong /ppMaster’s degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, Architectural or similar /ppLanguages spoken: English and/or French is a plus /ppbr/ppLocation – Milan and hybrid /ppbr/ppstronguCOSA DEVI FARE ORA /u /strong /ppCandidates of both sexes, After reading the obligatory information regarding privacy on the site , are requested to send your CV in Word format, under reference (Ref. ), as well as his or her consent to the processing of personal data pursuant to Legislative Decree no. 196/03.
