More information can be found on the corporate website: www.cnhindustrial.com.PRIMARY FUNCTION:Supports the Chief Engineer / Project Leader in defining the concept and technical solutions and ensures the correct interfaces between the various groups and components. Design and leads groups and components following the Product Development and the Current Product process phases. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:In order to achieve the tasks, the main responsibilities of the position include: • He/She looks for the best technical solution given design requirements, in accordance with the objectives on cost, quality and timing • He/She manages the release of the drawings; defines and populate BOM’s, manages the Engineering Change process • He/She prepares the technical documentation to support new program process development on product engineering deliverables • He/She provides the necessary technical information for the vehicles testing and the field test and for the management of ' problem solving ' in the quality issue, with focus on hydraulic layout • He/She supports the standardization for new developments in terms of materials and technology for the specific applicationsPREFERRED REQUIREMENTS: • Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field • Minimum 3 years of experience in vehicle design • Medium knowledge of English (written and spoken) • Technical skills: Advanced knowledge of technical drawings, focus on hydraulic systems/layouts and Fluid Conveyance; basic knowledge of mechanical, materials, manufacturing technologies. • Use and knowledge of procedures for the area: DFMEA, 7 steps Process, New content risk analysis, Drawings Check List • Understanding electric/hydraulic schematics • Advanced CAD 3D user (TeamCenter, VisMockup and Creo) • Microsoft packages: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OutlookOTHER INFORMATION: • Able to work under medium supervision and to manage multiple projects • Proactiveness and accountability • Team working • Ability to work with tight deadline and under pressure • Problem solving skills
