pstrongMission /strong /ppHe is assigned to a Design HSE Team within a project and is in charge of any Design HSE related activities assigned to him by the Design HSE Manager/Leader, guaranteeing the quality and the project schedule. He responds to the Design HSE Manager/Leader for the peculiarities of the project and the quality of the deliverables. /ppbr/ppstrongKey Activities Responsibilities /strong /ppDuring the execution of a project, the duties of the Design HSE Engineer are: /pulliTo develop the engineering activities of the Design HSE discipline, guaranteeing the quality of the generated deliverables and their compliance with the contractual and company standards, procedures and work instructions. /liliTo perform specific tasks or portions of HSE Studies (such as HAZOP, SIL Classification, QRA, RAM etc.) and of other HSE related activities at Design stage, as identified in the Project Design HSE Plan (such as HSE Design Reviews, PSSR’s etc.) /liliTo interact with the other Discipline Engineers for the topics of his competence. /li /ulpAs a member of department, the duties of the Design HSE Engineer are: /pulliTo provide feedback to the Process, DHSE PID Group Leader, concerning problems arising from application of standard work methodologies, to improve the effectiveness and the efficiency of the Department. /liliTo keep himself up-to-date about the technical specific improvement of the discipline. /li /ulpbr/ppstrongThe ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: /strong /pulliKnowledge of the engineering sector for process plants. /liliKnowledge of fire protection and risk analysis for process plants. /liliFamiliarity with standards (API, NFPA, UNI). /liliProficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel. /liliKnowledge of AutoCAD. /liliPreferably familiar with Phast/Pipenet software. /li /ulpbr/ppstrongRequired skills: /strong /pulliDegree in Chemical Engineering, Safety Engineering, or equivalent. /liliMinimum of 2 years of experience in process plant engineering related to fire protection and safety studies. /liliMotivation and interest in deepening technical aspects. /liliGood interpersonal and communication skills. /liliWillingness to travel within Italy and abroad. /liliGood English language skills. /li /ul
