Design Responsible Engineer – ADAS (Parking Assistance Systems)

We are hiring a Design Responsible Engineer (DRE) – ADAS to support the development and validation of Parking Assistance systems (ultrasonic and camera‐based) for a major automotive project based in Turin .
This role requires hands‐on involvement in component development management , supplier coordination, and system validation within a structured automotive environment.

Role & Responsibilities
Manage the complete development lifecycle of ADAS parking assistance components
Release and maintain technical specifications
Prepare supply packages and support evaluation of technical offers
Monitor development plans and address critical issues with mitigation actions
Perform impact and risk analysis for changes and updates
Coordinate and lead technical meetings with suppliers and internal stakeholders
Support and execute validation activities for parking systems
Ensure development progress, quality, and compliance with requirements

Mandatory Requirements
Minimum 1 year of experience in development or management of automotive parking assistance components
(Ultrasonic and/or video‐based systems)
At least 1 year of experience in parking system validation
Strong understanding of automotive development processes
Native Italian – required for technical documentation, supplier interaction, and meetings
English (intermediate or higher) for communication with global stakeholders

Nice to Have
Knowledge of installation characteristics and regulatory compliance
(e.g. FMVSS, GSR )
Experience with automotive systems and networking:
Diagnostics, CAN, LIN, Ethernet, LVDS
Familiarity with automotive standards and tools:
ISO 26262 , DFMEA
CATIA, UG, Enovia PLM, Teamcenter
Basic automotive cybersecurity concepts

Work mode: 100% on‐site (face‐to‐face activities required, 5 days/week)

Equipment: Supplier must provide laptop with MS Office package
