Your Responsibilities
Lead the Electrical/ Electronics (E/E) and Software (SW) department: EE Program managementElectrical ArchitectureBody and Interior ElectronicsConnected CockpitADAS & Safety ElectronicsSW integrationTesting & Validation
Ensure the development of all systems and components belonging to the EE&SW area to match the defined targets of quality, performance, time and cost on all projects
Approve and release for deployment any new Automobili Pininfarina SW
Generate and monitor departmental and projects KPIs coordinating information flow with CTO and the other Directors, reporting regularly on status and developing countermeasures and improvement plans.
Coordinate internal and external stakeholders of EE&SW department and manage departmental risk register.
Lead EE&SW decoupled projects, & ensures lesson learned capture across vehicle projects
Ensure the definition and implementation of EE&SW methodologies, processes and tools according to company strategy, maintain and monitor Automobili Pininfarina Product Development Process application according to APF quality standards.
Grow and coach EE&SW team in a fast paced and inspiring environment towards an open communication culture.
Ensure availability of all information necessary to CTO to take decisions on technical development.
Ensure creation and maintenance of a strong EE&SW Development Team.
Support the creation of the medium- and long-time company strategy.
In cooperation with other Directors, collaborate to create and maintain development guidelines and standards build, management documents and standardization directives.
Your Profile
Masters degree or PhD in electrical engineering, electronics or software development.
10-15 years of Relevant, leading experience in OEM / Tier one in Automotive industry.
Must have experience working with small teams and small/mid automotive OEMs (<2000 employees)
Strong experience in communication protocols incl. CAN/LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet and UDS/Diagnostics protocols and tools (Vector, Dewesoft, Inca)
Strong experience in SW requirements management and tools (Doors/Polarion/System Weaver/Jama), and Model-Based system engineering.
Robust approach to SW development/deployment methodologies and control, including versioning and CI/CD.
Strong experience in SW testing and validation processes and tools (Code Debugging / Unit Testing / MIL / HIL / SIL & UAT)
Knowledge of EE&SW design, safety and security standards, regulation and certification (LV124/128, ISO 26262, ISO 21434, ECE R10, …)
Knowledge of AUTOSAR layered architectures and ASPICE
Previous experience in Electronic Control Unit design & Circuit simulation and validation a plus
Previous experience in electric architecture optimization, body controls, vehicle state machine / power states management
OTA software development and deployment in EV context a plus
Mixture of both start-up and legacy OEM experience preferred.
Deep knowledge of Automotive SW Development process from Advanced phase to SOP
Fluent English skills, Italian is a plus.
