As EHS Manager and RSPP, according to Legislative Decree 81/808, he/she has the task of developing, maintaining and improving the EHS system in accordance with ISO14001, ISO45001 OHSAS18001 and SA8000, ensuring compliance with legal requirements on environment, hygiene and safety and with Stanely Black&Decker Corporate requirements (EHS scorecard and Roadmap).
MAIN TASKS
As RSPP, he/she has to carry out the activities necessary to ensure the site's compliance with mandatory and/or voluntary environmental and safety regulations with the task of minimizing the risk on hygiene, health and safety of workers and minimizing the environmental impact of the company's activities; he/she proposes policies, develops procedures, and deals with their implementation with a view to continuous improvement.
As the person in charge of the EHS Management System, he/she carries out all activities to obtain/maintain certifications, the necessary authorizations of compliance related to the EHS (e.g. Legislative Decree 81/08).
Coordinates with the corporate Doctor, according to Lgs.D. 81/08, for the identification of the job-related risk assessment and for the definition of an appropriate health protocol.
Analyses the specific risks connected to the activities/substances and, in coordination with all company functions (Manufacturing and administrative), defines specific risk minimization programs.
Identifies and proposes improvements related to incident prevention and corrective actions related to workstations for risk mitigation. Ensures their implementation.
Organises and manages (coordinating with HR) staff training in relation to risks, prevention programs and EHS procedures. Defines and proposes corporate communication on EHS - coordinating with HR.
Identifies purchasing needs and is accountable, participating in budget submission, for EHS expenses. Identifies and proposes the investments necessary to carry out the activities related to the function.
Reports to the Corporate the results related to the EHS performance of the site. Manages all possible EHS audits both internal and external carried out by the competent Authorities, External Auditor and Companies appointed by Corporate.
Defines the methodologies and criteria for the qualification of suppliers on the basis of the corporate reference standards on EHS, participating in audits.
Together with HR, it carries out internal audits on personnel compliance with internal health and safety regulations.
Accountable for ensuring that your behaviour complies with the Company's Social Responsibility rules and in the event of any non-compliance apply the Policy rules.
He/she respects EHS rules, both those prescribed by Italian law (in particular, articles 19-20 of the Consolidation Act) and those of internal procedures.
