Key Responsibilities:
• Install, maintain, modify and repair SCADA systems and associated instrumentation, control, and automation equipment
• Maintain, repair and optimize the performance of Xylem control systems
• Install, modify, test and repair electrical plant and equipment with appropriate supervision
• Participate in planned and preventive breakdown maintenance
• Provide specialist technical advice and sales support to customers
• Order spares as required
• Take responsibility for own health and safety and that of colleagues
• Adhere to Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality policies, procedures and regulations
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all work carried out
• Support the development of procedures and technical documentation
• Participate in the on-call rota for critical systems
• Attend training and development courses to maintain technical competence
• Work closely with Engineering, Operations and Sales departments to ensure high customer satisfaction

Requirements:
• Ideally have completed a Leaving Certificate including the subjects of science & maths, other qualifications will be considered
• Ability to show a keen desire to learn and retain information
• Knowledge and awareness of Health and Safety issues relevant to the industry
• A passion for electrical and instrumentation work
• Commitment to safety
• Ability to work well in a team
• Willingness to continuously learn and develop
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible hours as required
• Valid Driving licence
