Job DescriptionSCOPE AND IMPACT: In this role, as the ASPP of our San Gemini plant, you will plan and lead the Environment, Health and Safety activities in our production site. You will be part of a larger EHS community composed both by other EHS Specialists in our 10 Italian plants and by the Italy-Hungary EHS function in our Italian HQ. In this role you will report to San Gemini's Plant Manager (direct line) and to the Italy-Hungary EHS Manager (dotted line).YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: EHS and Property Protection Management Compliance (40%) - identify legal and corporate compliance issues within the plant, develop, implement and lead solution plans (with support from the relevant corporate departments), advise plant management on their legal obligations and support the EHS function in our Italian HQ to develop tailored and cost effective compliance strategies, develop relationships with local regulators, support internal corporate EHS auditsEHS and Property Protection Management & Continuous Improvement (10%) - identify and implement programs to improve EHS performance beyond legal requirements when needed (i.e. reduced utility costs, reduced insurance costs, safer working environment), be the facility expert for EHS incident investigations offering support and guidance, monitor all corrective actions until they are completedEHS and Management System (25%) - ensure there is an established and active EHS Management System which meets all specific local requirements and all minimum corporate requirements at the facility, maintain ISO14001 status in San Gemini, establish/maintain GMF procedures and standardsEHS Staff, Culture (25%) - offer technical and regulatory EHS and Property Protection Management support to all relevant staff within San Gemini plant, develop and execute training programs focused on key job functions with greatest potential for EHS and Property Protection impact, perform internal audits/inspections and monitoring to ensure compliance to EHS and Property Protection Management policies, build relationships with internal stakeholders to engage the workforce to own EHS and Property Protection programsQualificationsREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCERelevant university degree (i.e. Environmental Engineering)H&S qualification/professional membership (i.e. NEBOSH diploma, CMIOSH)At least 2-3 years of experience as EHS professional in a heavy manufacturing companyItalian CEFR level C2/Native, English CEFR level B2 or aboveREQUIRED CHARACTERISTICSYou’re open to ideas and concepts presented by your colleagues- collaboration will be the keystone of your success in O-IYou actively listen your colleagues - building strong internal relationships in our Aprilia plant will help you achieve your goalsYou enjoy engaging with co-workers to get work done - our EHS Leads in the plant are in direct contact with the shop floorAdditional InformationIf you are smart, passionate, innovative, culturally open, curious and collaborative, we’d like to hear from you.
