In the role of Financial Application Analyst for Belmond, you will be a key reference point for the optimization and support of our financial ERP, ensuring efficiency, data integrity, and technological alignment with our growth ambitions. You will work closely with the Finance and Purchasing teams, transforming business needs into scalable technological solutions and supporting our global operations. Analyzing, configuring, and supporting existing financial systems, ensuring their correct functioning and efficiencyParticipating in the implementation of new functionalities and modules within financial systems, from requirements gathering to go‐liveCollaborating with Finance, Purchasing and IT departments to align business processes with system capabilities, identifying opportunities for improvement and automationPerforming data validation and ensuring the accuracy and consistency of financial information within the systemsDeveloping and optimizing financial reports and dashboards to support business decisionsProviding training and technical support to end‐users on financial systems and proceduresManaging relationships with financial software vendors for system assistance and updates
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Management Engineering, or a related field2–5 years of prior experience in a financial systems analysis role or similar positionIn‐depth knowledge of financial processes (general ledger, cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, reporting)Proven ability to work with finance‐focused ERP systems, including WorkdayExcellent analytical skills and a strong aptitude for problem‐solvingHigh proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and large‐dataset analysis)Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with both technical and non‐technical stakeholdersKnowledge of cloud‐based financial management systems (e.g., Workday Finance) is a plusExcellent command of both Italian and English (written and spoken)
