Job Title: Event Management Specialist
Location: Remote in Italy (with occasional on-site presence)
Overview: Join a world leading pharmaceutical company as an event management specialist. This role will support the Business Units and Professional Education in organizing and managing scientific events, ensuring effective training and visibility in the MedTech field.
Responsibilities:
- Liaise with Congress Organizations: Maximize visibility for the company and align with company representatives and meeting planners for corporate event setups.
- System Updates: Update internal systems with information regarding activities such as sponsorships and grants.
- Contract Management: Prepare, send, and obtain signatures for grant and sponsorship contracts.
- Image Management: Coordinate stand setups through preferred suppliers, manage other suppliers, and send logos and advertising materials.
- Financial Management: Enter purchase orders in internal systems, manage provisions, and oversee financial aspects.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in the MedTech and/or Pharma sector.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with sector regulations and GDPR.
- Taxation Knowledge: Understanding of Italian taxation related to sector events.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in Italian (mandatory) and a good level of English.
