Job Summary
This position is part of BLUTEK Finance and Controlling function, which tasks include month-end closing and reporting as well as forecasting related tasks, as well as several other finance tasks incurring in a global manufacturing business.
Responsibilities
Reports / Closing / Forecasting:
Prepare accurate and timely journal entries into the general ledger system including but not limited to Agents and Rep commission corrections, accruals and reserve adjustments, loss and obsolescence, unemployment taxes, vacation, holiday, earned time, workers’ comp.
Survey operations to ascertain accounting needs and to recommend, develop and maintain solutions to business and financial problems.
Perform monthly general ledger account reconciliations and prepare monthly, quarterly and annual balance sheet account analysis in accordance with company policies and accounting regulations.
Provide timely, accurate and professional reports including any annual federal and state tax schedules and both domestic and international reports.
Interface with internal and external auditors on US GAAP, statutory and tax audits.
Prepare and analyze daily/weekly/monthly Sales and Operations reports.
Support the preparation and monitoring of the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and monthly bridges for the Company.
Review costs for ETO projects on a monthly basis and conduct final cost reviews after project completion.
Support Engineering and Sales Controlling for accounting and costing issues related to ETO Projects and Aftermarket business.
Support calculation of percentage of completion revenue at month end.
Standard Costing:
Prepare and perform the annual costing run, the creation of new cost estimates and the maintenance of costing views of the material masters during the year in SAP as well as ongoing analyses of purchase price variances.
Design and maintain all standard cost of all plant products.
Preparation of cost of quality reports, scheduling of meetings on a regular basis in support of the Quality.
Basic Qualifications
Experience in accounting and reporting in a global manufacturing or in a manufacturing environment.
Bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) in Accounting, Finance, Business.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Experience in SAP, HFM, and Essbase systems preferable.
Excellent written and oral communication in Italian and English.
