Position

We are looking for an adaptable and flexible Full Stack Developer to support our Data Science team in developing backend and frontend services for our cutting-edge data science platform, integrated with our IoT digital platform. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment, quickly learning new technologies, and embracing change. The role requires strong communication skills, a keen ability to learn from feedback, and the capability to adjust to evolving project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Backend Development:Develop and maintain robust, scalable backend services using frameworks such asFlask.Design and implementRESTful APIendpoints to facilitate seamless frontend-backend interaction.Manage and optimizeSQLandNoSQLdatabases for efficient data storage and retrieval.Implement robustauthenticationandauthorizationmechanisms to secure data and applications.
• Full Stack Integration:Ensure smooth integration between frontend and backend systems to fetch, process, and display data.Deploy full-stack applications using containerization technologies likeDockerand cloud-based platforms.Write comprehensiveunit tests,integration tests, andend-to-end teststo ensure high-quality, bug-free applications.
• Collaboration with Data Science Team:Gain experience withdata scienceanddata engineeringtechnologies, assisting the team in developing solutions that leverage cutting-edge IoT data.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degreein Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong communication skillsin English, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Solid proficiencyin programming languages such asPythonandJava.
• Share the values of Carel Culture Code!

Core Skills

• Backend Development:Expertise withFlaskfor building scalable backend services.Extensive experience in developingRESTful APIsand working with databases (SQL/NoSQL).Understanding of security principles and implementation of authentication/authorization protocols.
• Frontend Development:
• Full Stack Integration:Ability to connect frontend and backend systems efficiently, enabling data-driven web applications.Experience in deploying applications using tools likeDockerand cloud services.Knowledge of testing frameworks to ensure the reliability and performance of applications.
• Additional Skills:Proficient inLinuxenvironments, includingbash scripting,package management, andservices management.
• Familiarity with cloud services likeAWS,Azure, orGCP.
• Experience with version control systems such asGit.
