OverviewWe are preparing for a project starting mid-2025 and are interested in candidates who may want to join NSC in the near future. We will contact you when we begin recruitment.The Desktop Support Engineer will provide end-user support, hands-on technical assistance, and collaborate with business users and stakeholders to ensure efficient support without disrupting business operations. The role requires practical support experience.ResponsibilitiesAdvise and present to one or more customer staff.Monitor and control daily service call activity, utilization, inventory levels, and service levels.Provide exceptional customer service.Demonstrate advanced customer service aptitude.Resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues.Troubleshoot customer issues while maintaining service level agreements.Participate in configuring and supporting internal systems.Work effectively with logistics teams.Adhere to schedules and documented policies, procedures, and processes.Document all customer interactions clearly and concisely within the CRM tool.Work effectively in a team environment.Maintain knowledge of industry enhancements.Support installation and implementation of connectivity and high-end system products.Continuously improve service delivery.Manage time and resources to meet or exceed expectations.QualificationsWork Experience: Over 24 months.Required knowledge includes:English (written and verbal) and local language.Advanced knowledge of computer hardware.Advanced knowledge of common software applications.Advanced knowledge of Microsoft operating systems.Proficient in printer hardware.Proficient in configuring and troubleshooting networking, wireless, and VPN features on end-user devices.Proficient in ticketing software.Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Office 365 applications.Experience with PC/laptop hardware and peripherals, including printers.Experience with mobile devices.Additional awareness of:Active DirectoryExchangeApple OSNetwork and server hardware and componentsIT qualifications may include:A+ Certification or OEM certifications such as Dell, HP, Lenovo, Lexmark, IBM, or Server+.PC/laptop OEM maintenance certification.CompTIA A+ Certification.Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) in desktop area.Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certification. #J-18808-Ljbffr
