OneWorks, an international design and consulting firm that offers integrated services in architecture, engineering, infrastructure, and urban planning to create and shape the most complex projects, is looking for a geologist to continuously support the engineering design activities at its Venice-Marghera office.Activities:Preparation of geotechnical and environmental investigation plans based on project needsSurveys, coordination, and interpretation of geotechnical investigations with the production of geological/geotechnical modelsData processing and representation of geotechnical data in GIS environmentsForecasting the effects of the interaction between geological phenomena (landslides, floods, volcanic activity, erosion, etc.) and anthropogenic systemsDrafting of the Geological Report and support for the Geotechnical ReportCalculation of bearing capacity and settlement of foundationsProduction of geological, geomorphological, and hydrogeological maps and sectionsPreparation of the report on material management and excavations soil and rock usage plansEnsuring compliance with legal standards and parameters and verifying the correctness of the presented evaluations and proposed interventionsManagement of excavations soil and rockEnvironmental remediationMinimum Requirements:Degree in Geology (preferably with a focus on geotechnics and/or environmental studies)At least five years of previous experience in the roleExcellent computer skills: MS Office; AutoCAD, GISCompetence in searching, managing, and visualizing/downloading data from national/regional geoportals and Geographic Information Systems (GIS)Knowledge of current national regulations concerning geological topics, excavations soils and rocks, and waste management (specifically, the NTC 2018, DPR 120/2017, and the Environmental Code D.Lgs. 152/2006)Knowledge of regional geological and seismic regulations, particularly with regard to Level II seismic analyses and/or RSL studiesProficiency in the English languageReliability, accuracy, ability to work in a team, and excellent organizational skillsLocal requirements (PIVA, Albo) #J-18808-Ljbffr
