Responsabilities:

• Support regions/plants in the construction and follow up of the “Environment Health Safety master plan” for the entire AAD division of Nidec Group, sharing standards and best practices among them;
• Manage the “EHS Stream” inside the AAD 3Q6S Central Team Organization focus to drive the plants in the application of the “Lean Manufacturing” EHS methods & tools to improve KPIs results in cooperation with the other Central Team Leaders designing a common strategy;
• Assure the availability of the appropriate “EHS Stream” training material and disseminate it to improve the knowledge in the regions/plants;
• Assure the application of the global standards, procedures, policies included in the EHS mgmt system and evaluate specific programs for the facilities that enhance EHS awareness and compliance with country regulations. Organize inspections, assessments, audits to verify and guarantee the application and Organize & Lead “EHS improvement” workshops supporting the regions/plants;
• Manage the governance of the 1st Level KPIs about the dimension “Safety, Fire, Environment” to measure and assure the improvement at AAD level;
• Be a reference point in terms of tools and technical solution to improve the Safety & Environment culture and standardize the application in all the AAD plants;
• Participate in Large projects and lead the implementation of specific tools or new technical solutions in the plants as a pilot. Specific focus on initiatives related to new plants/lines or relocation programs to capture the opportunities of the best possible safety conditions since the design stage of the project.

Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in Engineering or similar;
• ISO 14.001 (Environmental Management System) and ISO 45.001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management System) certifications (Auditor);
• CHSO and SSH certifications (US certifications);
• 15 years experience in EHS with knowledge on regulatory compliances, control of hazardous substances, incident investigation and EHS mgmt systems;
• WCM methodology/Lean Manufacturing and specific methods & tools knowledge on EHS topics (good level);
• Excellent knowledge in English;
• Spreadsheets (Excel, G Sheets, etc) and Presentation skills (PPT, G Slides, etc).
