Global Export Shipping Specialist required by a Dublin 11-based manufacturer. Reporting to the Shipping/Logistics Manager, you will ensure that Customers requirements for on-time Transport of goods from factories and suppliers to Global Locations / Clients are met including planning and coordination of all export activities. You will also be responsible for the preparation of export and domestic documentation as required as well as ensuring the appropriate execution and routing of customer orders with appropriate terms, carriers, freight weights and volumes to meet delivery requirements.
Core Responsibilities:
Communicate with Dealers and Customers to ensure requirements regarding delivery dates / times are met.
Consolidation of orders and managing transport space and equipment requirements.
Preparation of Shipping Invoices, Packing lists, Certs of Origin and other documents as required
Close collaboration with the Warehouse / Customer service teams to manage information around pick/pack & on-time shipping.
Liaise with other offices/ Product Dealers / Freight agents worldwide
Ensure compliance to Customers & Statutory Country specific Customs & Trade compliance requirements worldwide.
Arrange for transport of cargo with Carrier’s and agree rates where no tariffs exist, maximise cost-effectiveness, ensure accounting deadlines are met.
Arrange direct/drop shipments from Suppliers to Customers/Dealers (Triangulation)
Ensure compliance with Internal INFOR processes/functions
Manage Delivery schedules
Support Transport optimization / Cost Saving programmes
Flexibility will be required in this role and must be prepared to undertake other tasks / duties as requested by management
Experience, Knowledge & Skills:
5 years’ experience in Shipping / International trade with Multi-Modal freight experience a distinct advantage
Experience of Shipping through an ERP System (SAP, Oracle, JDE etc.)
Computer Literate with MS Office (Word, Exel & Outlook)
Very strong interpersonal skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication and analytical skills and experience working with different countries and cultures.
Strong knowledge and proven experience of working with Global Trade Regulations.
Strong Knowledge and proven experience of working with Global Customs Requirements /Regulations
Experience of working with Shipping Line/Airline Rules, Regulations & Procedures
