Position Purpose
Within the Heat Pumps & Systems Laboratory of a multinational leader in comfort and energy efficiency technologies, the resource will be a key figure in supporting the development of innovative solutions, including heat pumps, hybrid systems, high-efficiency boilers, and advanced climate and storage systems. The position involves the assembly, installation, and maintenance of these systems.
Responsibilities
Installation and configuration of heat pumps and hybrid systems on test benches, in accordance with technical specifications and laboratory protocols.
Support in the design and realization of test plants, including electrical and hydraulic wiring and verification of connections and sensors.
Collaboration with engineers and designers to identify technical improvements on prototypes and implement modifications on existing systems.
Monitoring and recording system performance during tests, providing structured feedback to development teams.
Contributing to the definition of operational and safety standards for the laboratory.
Active participation in troubleshooting technical issues related to testing phases, experimentation, and field claims.
Requirements
Technical diploma or Bachelor's degree in Energy Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, or equivalent (even if in progress).
Basic knowledge of HVAC technologies, thermodynamics, and the principles of operation of heat pumps and hybrid systems.
Basic Technical Skills:
Basic knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and automation systems.
Ability to use measuring instruments (e.g., multimeter, manometers, thermometers).
Familiarity with software for monitoring and data recording (e.g., Excel, Labview, data acquisition software).
Interest in developing practical skills related to the assembly, installation, and maintenance of complex technological systems.
Languages:
Basic knowledge of English, written and spoken, necessary to read technical documentation and collaborate with colleagues in a multinational context.
Soft Skills:
Willingness to work in multidisciplinary teams.
Problem-solving skills and attention to precision and quality of work.
Curiosity and a commitment to continuous learning.
Organizational skills and attention to detail.
Other:
Availability to work in a laboratory environment, willingness to follow protocols and safety procedures.
Interest in the field of technological innovation and energy sustainability. Preferably, possession of a driving license (not mandatory, but useful for any short trips).
Additional Assets:
Previous experiences, even brief, related to internships or school/university projects in the HVAC sector or in applied research.
Basic knowledge of electronic control systems or PLC.
Certifications or specific courses related to plumbing, plant engineering, or workplace safety.
