About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Payroll & Admin Intern to join our People team at Subito. In this role, you will support both administrative and payroll activities, gaining hands-on experience in HR operations and payroll processing using Zucchetti, one of the leading HR and payroll systems in Italy.

Responsibilities

• Support in collecting and verifying employee attendance and timekeeping data
• Assist in the preparation and processing of payroll using Zucchetti
• Collecting, checking, and updating employee data (attendance, leaves, benefits, etc.)
• Help manage documentation related to hiring, onboarding, and offboarding
• Support in managing sick leaves, holidays, and other absences, including payroll input for payslip generation
• Assist in preparing reports for internal and external stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies
• Collaborate with other departments for administrative needs
• Assisting with employment contract management and documentation
• Management of meal voucher requests and processes

Qualifications & required skills

• Degree in Human Resources, Business & HR Administration, Economics or related field (or currently pursuing)
• Strong interest in HR Operations and payroll processes
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
• Attention to detail, confidentiality, and organizational skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Italian
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a dynamic digital environment
• Familiarity with Zucchetti software will be considered a strong plus
