The foundation of our success is the ability to develop all our people to lead effectively at every level of our organisation.  /ppstrongSummary: /strong /ppWith reference to the mining concessions operated in Italy by Energean Italy S.p.A. and Energean Sicilia Srl and with reference to the South Italy territorial area, the selected Person will perform the function of HSE Engineer and, in this role, will be appointed Responsible Director pursuant to Legislative Decree 624/96 – Presidential Decree 886/79 – Presidential Decree 128/59 and subsequent amendments, reporting directly to the HSE Manager, ensuring compliance with legislative provisions and the safety of operations. /ppstrongKey Accountabilities: /strong /pulliEnsure the application of Energean’s HSE standards in accordance with the working environment. /liliSupport the preparation, implementation, and monitoring of HSE Procedures. /liliPromote HSE awareness through toolbox talks, training sessions, and campaigns. /liliContribute to the reporting of incidents, investigations, and the follow-up of corrective actions. /liliManage the organization of field work according to the safety provisions issued by the Employer, including on-site inspections, visits, the organization of briefings, supervision of work permits, etc. /liliComply with and ensure compliance with regulatory and legal provisions concerning the protection of workers’ safety and health, and implement the DSSC (which he/she signs), both in its objectives and in its specific provisions. /liliSupport the Employer operationally in the responsibility for safety and health in the workplace. /liliVerify the correct legislative compliance of mining sites as required by current regulations regarding workplace safety, including aspects related to the compliance of fire protection systems, lifting systems, pressure equipment, explosive atmospheres, and everything else required under Legislative Decree 624/96 and Legislative Decree 81/2008 and subsequent amendments. If anomalies are detected, request their resolution by activating the appropriate technical functions. /liliVerify the completeness and consistency of the necessary documentation from contractors, ensuring its suitability for carrying out the planned work within the company’s contractor documentation management process. /liliParticipate in training and information sessions for the roles concerned. /li /ulpstrongQualifications and Experience: /strong /pulliDegree in engineering with professional qualification, or degree in geology with professional qualification (professional qualification meaning having passed the state exam for the practice of the profession). /liliThree years of experience in HSE roles in Oil Gas plants or complex projects.
