We are looking for a Industrial Engineering & Continuous Improvement Specialist to join the HQ Team in Casole d'Elsa (SI).
Purpose:
Reporting to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager, the resource will be responsible for developing and maintaining a culture of continuous improvement, supporting activities and initiatives aimed at improving the site's industrial performance, in particular by eliminating waste, improving flexibility, labour efficiency and service level.
Activities:
Support the success of process improvement initiatives by implementing policies, procedures and process documentation and coordinating with the various functions involved.
Contribute to plant transformation, technology transfer and continuous maintenance of value streams.
Contribute to the implementation of demand-driven production fundamentals and strategies that support operational excellence and long-term plans (flexibility, speed and responsiveness).
Help ensure that product, material and information flows are synchronised to produce maximum efficiency and minimum operational cost.
Work closely with production personnel to promote continuous improvement of production methods, systems and controls.
Monitor and supervise the methodological correctness in the development of projects, the efficient use of resources and the robustness of results with the aim of giving timely feedback to the structures involved.
Act as facilitator of change management, implementation of key improvement programmes and effective measurement of Key Performance Indicators.
Requirements:
Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree Management Engineering.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Excellent knowledge of written/spoken English.
Good knowledge of Lean principles and CAD software.
