Creating Peace of Mind by Pioneering Safety and SecurityThe Industrial Engineer Specialist is responsible to analyze internal manufacturing processes, identify wastes and inefficiencies, drive improvement actions, increase productivity, maintain quality standards and reduce costs. Collaborates very closely with Manufacturing, Maintenance and Quality departments, supporting new projects and technological upgrades to comply with product specifications and meet customer needs.We are looking for a junior engineer with an excellent academy background (mechanical or electronic) with no more than 3-4 year’s working experience preferably in manufacturing Companies. Duties and responsibilitiesImplement and maintain master data, routing, BOMsImplement and maintain standard operations along all the production processes and assembly linesParticipate into projects to increase plant productivity and develop new processesParticipate into value stream analysis through kaizen events and implementation of lean projects to improve on time delivery, 5S, compliance to safety norms, adherence to cost objectives.Maintain production standards and work on opportunities to improve operations KPI (cycle times, productivity, space utilization, shop floor and line design codes, etc.)Among other tasks, he will work on the implementation and usage of the following tools and processes:Standard Specification for Purchased Equipment and toolsStandard Work to achieve best cost, quality and performancePlant Layout and/or Process ChangeOEE and utilizationTPM5SBasic Problem Solving / 8D analysisProcess document procedures for process specs, control plansQualificationsEngineering degree required (Mechanical or related fields)English Fluent with conversation and writingMax 3-4 year’s working experience, preferably in manufacturing CompaniesKey competenciesStrong execution ability to get the work done within target, time and budgetGood interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with internal and external colleaguesProject managementKnowledge on lean methodologies preferredTechnical knowledge on re-design of production and assembly processes preferredProficiency in MS Office and AutoCADCritical thinking and problem solving attitudeWe Celebrate Who We Are!
