Otis Italy is looking for applications in one of his Companies for the position of:

INTERNAL CONTROL SPECIALIST

The Internal Control Specialist will work in the Internal Control Team and will be in charge of the following activities:
Define, update and monitor the internal control frameworks for effective financial management and financial reporting:
Review local policies to ensure full compliance with Corporate policies

Perform Risk assessment for Otis branches and subsidiaries
Sarbanes & Oxley compliance (Gap assessment, quarterly certification etc.)
Maintain, improve and reinforce centralized controls on subsidiaries
Perform local audits in Otis branches and subsidiaries
Lead continuous improvements on company processes and HQ shared service activities
Assist and supervise the audit performed by Corporate auditors, and Business Unit controller, implementing and following up with proper corrective actions
Being able to be a Key contact on internal control, accounting and tax matters (including Statutory financial statement preparations and tax compliance) and to Perform financial Analysis will be considered preferential terms.
The ideal candidate has the following skills and experience:
Economics master degree required, MBA or Master of Accounting preferred
Fluent English knowledge
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS
Strong background in auditing, financial control, accounting, analysis and reporting
3+ years of total accounting/finance professional experience in a Big 4 accounting firm, additional experience in a multinational company will be a plus
Ability to work, take ownership, and succeed in a rapidly changing environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to build strong relationship across the Company, work collaboratively with remote teams of accounting staff
The position is located in Cassina de Pecchi (Milano)
