Job Description:

We seek a collaborative, proactive, and innovative individual responsible for expanding the IT infrastructure by working with cutting-edge technologies on challenging projects, delivering high-quality solutions from design to execution.

This role involves providing comprehensive technical support throughout the system lifecycle, ensuring SLA adherence, and overseeing customer-driven innovation and system performance improvements.

Requirements:

• Ensure all IT infrastructure components (servers, networks, storage, etc.) are operational, secure, and optimized for performance.
• Implement and manage monitoring systems to track infrastructure health and performance.
• Oversee resolution of infrastructure incidents, minimizing downtime.
• Forecast future infrastructure needs based on business growth and technological trends.
• Implement security measures to protect infrastructure from threats.
• Oversee deployment, maintenance, and support of enterprise applications to meet business requirements and SLAs.
• Implement application performance monitoring tools to resolve bottlenecks.
• Manage resolution of application incidents, coordinating with relevant teams.
• Oversee application change management processes.
• Manage relationships with application vendors to ensure support commitments are met.
• Lead infrastructure and application projects, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery, and manage project teams according to standards and regulations.

Professional Background & Experience:

• B.A. in IT or related field; master’s degree in computer science or engineering preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in ICT & Hosting roles.
• Knowledge of virtualization, Docker, ISO/IEC 27001:2013, and ISO 27001 standards.
• Leadership and project management experience.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical skills, and business acumen.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for management interfacing.
• Ability to build strong client relationships face-to-face.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of life sciences technologies is a plus.
