illycaffè is an Italian company founded in Trieste in 1933 with the mission to offer the best coffee to the world. We are looking for a Junior Buyer to join our Procurement Team at the Headquarter in Trieste.

What will you do under your responsibility as a Junior Buyer:

• create and implement global procurement strategies that are innovative, cost-effective, and incorporate the growing complexities and challenges within Industry;
• manage the company’s supply of Goods and Services;
• discover profitable suppliers and initiate business and organization partnerships;
• negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms;
• approve the ordering of necessary promotional products and services;
• finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries;
• examine and test existing contracts;
• track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness;
• collaborate with key persons and Functions to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company;
• control spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.

Your Requirements:

• degree in in Business Administration, Engineering or related field – other professional certifications are desirable;
• knowledge of contracts, invoicing, and negotiation terms;
• negotiation and customer service skills;
• professional knowledge of the English language.
