HZI acts as an engineering, procurement and construction contractor and project developer, delivering complete turnkey plants and system solutions for thermal and biological EfW recovery. HZI’s Service Group combines its own research and development with comprehensive manufacturing and erection capabilities to support our clients throughout the entire life cycle of their plant.
Your responsibilities
• Responsible for assigned products/systems and being the point of contact for all technical engineering matters during the entire project.
• Preparation of the technical documentation for components and systems for Request for Quotation and Purchase Order process, technical evaluation of bids and joint selection of suppliers
• Supervision of suppliers throughout the project implementation phase
• If necessary, carrying out Pre-Inspection Meeting
• Organizing Kick-off meeting
• Checking all the technical documentation of suppliers
• Reviewing the Quality-Plans and incorporating customer requirements into QMS
• Preparing/defending of claims with Technical Project Manager
• Responsible for the completeness of the CAE lists in his field (piping list, valves list, signal exchange, instrumentation, components)
• Collaboration with Quality inspectors
• Providing monitoring information as requested by project management
• Supporting site team during erection and commissioning
Your experiences
• Industry experience (Oil&Gas / Energy sector / Energy from Waste / Renewable Energies) in mechanical engineering, basic knowledge in electrical engineering is an asset
• Experience in preparation of specifications for mechanical equipment or systems
• Knowledge in development and optimization of systems and specifications
• Good effective decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Ability to proactively collaborate across different businesses, departments and countries, including communicate effectively across cultures
• Fluent (minimum B2 level) in written and spoken English and local language, any other language skills are an advantage
• Understand to 2D and 3D - CAD methodology
• Understand to CAE Tools
• Proficiency in MS Office
