Parker Sales Company South EMEA is looking for a key account manager for its fluidic market and products. The group provides solutions including pumps, valves, manifolds and pressure regolators, for both OEM's and distributors.

Position Summary

The primary purpose of this role is to develop Group/Divisions sales and market share within defined scope of responsibility. The employee strives to maintain and increase sales revenues with existing and new direct accounts.
This position reports to Group Sales Leader or Sales Manager.
The Key Account Manager is responsible for defined key accounts for the organization.

Responsibilities

▪ Achieve the annual sales plan.
▪ Develop and apply activity/business plans for target accounts.
▪ Cooperate within you team and together with all Parker resources to generate growth for Parker overall.
▪ The employee is accountable for developing markets, products and system solutions and well as customer sales with defined customers mainly by:
1. Identifying the customers’ needs, wishes, requirements and identify business opportunities
2. Communicating information about Parker products, systems and services through personal interaction with customers
3. Designing, presenting and quote solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations
4. Coordinating efforts from groups, divisions, and sales organization - act as project managers
5. Searching and return relevant information about customers, markets and competitors
6. Submitting reports and completing required actions on time and to the required standard
7. Challenge the customer for maximum sales growth while obtaining good relations.

Qualifications

Qualifications

▪ University degree in Engineering (Mechanical Eng is a plus)
▪ Able to drive own initiative whilst remaining a team player
▪ Able to create relations and positively influence
▪ Open to change with a positive attitude
▪ Able to think strategically whilst managing practical day to day operating issues
▪ Fluent in English and IT skills (Office)
▪ Ability to manage multiple tasks and work towards tight deadlines
▪ Willing to travel
▪ Experience in relevant technology
▪ Knowledge of the local market within relevant applications
